So, I’m not sure if everybody knows this or not, but superstar mega streamer Ninja is known for being a bit of a….well….baby. That’s been talked about multiple times, whether it’s because people are dogging on him for his viewer counts while on Mixer, or people talking about how they don’t think he is the king of Fortnite or whatever it may be. But now, the latest reason is captured on video for all to see while Ninja and his team play Valorant.

Ninja and Sonii

Ninja has been competing in Valorant tournaments with a team called “100 Blifted” for a bit now, and the roster is made up of streamers and pros without being under a single organization. They’ve had moderate success, but it seems that Ninja was left wanting more. A few days ago, while streaming some late-night competitive games online, an exchange was captured between Ninja and another teammate who has been feeling a lot of conflict with the blue-haired leader, T1’s Sonii, and it didn’t go over so well with the people on the team.

After that exact exchange, the team hit a breaking point and came to a decision; it was either Ninja or Sonii, and Ninja won out.

Sonii recounted a talk he had with the rest of the team, saying “If you guys want to play with Ninja over me, I understand. He probably brings a lot to the table for you guys like stream growth and whatever else you want to argue.” And if that’s how people are picking who to keep on their squad now, I say that’s a pretty low bar to have to meet.

100 Blifted will now be competing in the FaZe Clan Ignition Series Qualifiers with a new squad and will try to compete for a championship spot, something that the previous squad that went 0-4 at the PAX Arena Invitational failed to do.

The Valorant competitive scene hasn’t come totally into place just yet, and for a fledgling scene to be dominated by teams imploding from infighting like this already is a bad sign of things to come, whether that’s for professional organizations forcing out behavior like this, or of players with Ninja’s attitude being the bulls in china shops that just can’t seem to find a groove with teams.
