BIRMINGHAM, ENGLAND - MARCH 06: A Boxer dog looks out from its kennel on first day of Crufts dog show at the NEC on March 6, 2014 in Birmingham, England. Like many of you, my wife and I wanted to do something productive during stay at home orders. We both love the boxer breed. So we reached out to the Carolina Boxer Rescue and inquired about being a foster family. After a few video meetings, some paperwork, and locating a foster that was right for our family… we found one!

Today I’m meeting our new short term dog…. with no name. It was a stray that can either have the name “Charlotte” or “Karma.” People donated those names in honor of their own boxers who passed. We’re leaning towards Charlotte obviously.

The whole process of getting the dog to me is amazing. So many volunteers are involved to make sure she’s safely transported. She’s being taken like a CIA operation TBH. There’s not a lot of details shared right now for the safety of the dog.

I’ll update you guys on the progress. Will she be a lovey? Will she be skittish? Will she poop on my floor!?? Will she bark all night? I’ll have an update and more on the amazing work that CBR does soon! The whole family is so excited!! Wish us luck!
