CHENGDU, CHINA - SEPTEMBER 19: (CHINA OUT) A baby drinks milk while waiting to be tested for possible kidney stones at the Chengdu Children's Hospital on September 19, 2008 in Chengdu of Sichuan Province, China. Twenty-two of the 109 milk food firms across the country have not passed the tests conducted by the General Administration of Quality Supervision, Inspection and Quarantine (AQSIQ). All the melamine-tainted batches have been recalled and will be destroyed, according to the AQSIQ. Four babies across the country have died after drinking melamine-contaminated milk powder, with more than 6,200 infants being sickened. (Photo by China Photos/Getty Images)

Picking a name for your child is never easy, and there will always be people who have strong opinions. TRUST ME, I am going through that right now!  I recently read about a woman who has a major problem with the names her sister picked out for her twins. My opinion … THEY ARE NOT YOUR KIDS! So, mind your own business!

The woman shares on Reddit’s “Am I The A-hole” forum that her sister is having twins and revealed that she plans to name them Ross and Rachel, like David Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston’s characters on “Friends.” At first, the OP thought her sister was joking, but when she realized she was serious she let her know it was a “terrible idea,” since folks will immediately associate the kids with the NBC comedy, plus she thinks it’s strange because the characters once dated.

Folks on Reddit had some definite opinions about the names, with many commenters agreeing with the OP that they were a bad idea. Another reader pointed out “My second-cousins (not twins tho) are named Rachel and Ross. I’ve always wondered if their mom was a ‘Friends’ fan, or if it was just a coincidence,” one person shared. “I don’t think they were ever made fun of or picked on because of their names.”

Either way, it’s really none of your business and you should support this new momma no matter what!
