President Trump will be presented in the Oval Office today with the official Space Force flag.
The flag will be handed over by Defense Secretary Mark Esper and the Space Force chief of space operations, General John Raymond. The flag is based on the official seal of the new military branch unveiled earlier in the year.
The flag ceremony will happen during the 2020 Armed Forces Day proclamation.
So far, more than two thousand people have signed on to be part of the new military branch.
