When I saw this headline, I was curious, because I'll be honest; it takes me forever to get out of bed in the morning. I am not a morning person. Usually, I lay in bed for at least 30 minutes after my first alarm goes off before I actually get out of bed... And that time has only gone up since working from home.

But I wanted to know if most people were like me, or if I was just lazy.

Turns out, the average American takes about 24 minutes to finally getting up and out of bed to start their morning.

The new survey also noted that people usually hit the snooze button twice before getting up.
