The pilot of a Piper Cherokee aircraft radioed the Quebec City fire department asking for permission to land on the highway, the CBC reported. He reported some mechanical issues.
Traffic was halted for less than an hour, and no one really seemed to care!
Just further proof that Canadians are so polite they’ll let someone land a plane in the middle of their rush-hour commute.
