RNC Officials Say They’re Committed To Still Holding Event

Despite other Summer events starting to cancel or postpone, RNC officials said they are continuing to move forward with an in-person convention in Charlotte this August. In addition to pushing forward, they are in hopes that this event will bring business back to Charlotte.

Vice President and Chief Information Officer Max Everett said in regards to the Republican National Convention Scheduled for August 24-27, "We are really moving full steam ahead."
