The cast of the Broadway play Hamilton has reunited for a good cause. The cast appeared on John Krasinski’s new quarantine talk show, Some Good News, to surprise a nine-year-old Hamilton fan who was set to go see the show in New York for her birthday before Covid-19.

“Since you couldn’t go to Hamilton, we’re bringing Hamilton to you,” John says to Aubrey in the episode before he and his wife, Emily Blunt, bring Hamilton’s creator and star Lin-Manuel Miranda in on their Zoom call. Afterward, Lin-Manuel Miranda brings other cast members like Daveed Diggs, Okieriete Onaodowan, Phillipa Soo, Christopher Jackson, Jasmine Cephas Jones, Renée Elise Goldsberry, Jonathan Groff, and Javier Muñoz to perform the opening number from the show.

John also promised that once the coronavirus pandemic settled down, that he would fly Aubrey and her mother out to see Hamilton live. Watch the touching moment below.
