This is the kind of adorable story that I needed to see today!

Everyone has their favorite Charlotte restaurants, and so many businesses having to close down to dine-in customers during this time, the community has really banned together to try and support local business as much as possible right now. That includes Charles Shepherd and his wife of over 30 years, Susan.

The couple decided to support local restaurant, Mama Ricottas. But instead of just simply picking up the food to bring home, they set up their own little tailgate dinner in the back of Charles’ truck.

Other people who were picking up orders from the restaurant took photos of the couple and posted them to social media, and of course… they are blowing up. I mean, how can this not make you smile?

We may not be in the best situation right now but finding creative ways to keep life normal are definitely helping us all to get through it. Way to go, Charles and Susan!
