Charlotte Pancreatic Cancer Alliance, aka @cltpalliance shares great news stories on Twitter and here’s one that made me dig deeper. Evidently since 2010 more than 163 rural hospitals and more to come. Presently 673 more facilities are extremely vulnerable that could close. It makes you wonder, why these rural hospitals are shutting down in the United States since the medical costs are skyrocketing, maybe that’s the reasoning, but what about those people who need medical attention? And who can help avoid more closings? Congressional intervention could help with your help. The National Rural Health Association is asking Congress members to ask members of Congress to #SaveRural Hospitals. NRHA’s Rural Health Policy Institute.
