The first anniversary of the tragic shooting at UNC Charlotte is approaching. The victims, including the late Ellis Parlier and Riley Howell, will be remembered with a special concert at the Blumenthal Performing Arts Center’s Belk Theater on Thursday, April 30, 2020, at 7:30 PM.

CBS News correspondent and UNCC alumnus Don Dahler will host United: A Remembrance Concert. Christopher Warren-Green will conduct the Charlotte Symphony Orchestra and the program will include an original composition by UNCC faculty member John Allemeier. The music will accompany a video honoring the victims, as well as the united response of the greater Charlotte community.

Tickets are $25 for general admission and $10 for students, plus taxes and facility fees. All proceeds will go to the April 30 Remembrance Fund.
