“Tonight is for Kobe,” Lizzo said before beginning her performance at the 62nd annual Grammy Awards. The Detroit native took the stage wearing a black velvet gown that was adorned with crystals.

Six ballet dancers graced the stage while Lizzo changed outfits prior to performing her hit “Truth Hurts.” Lizzo then hit the stage in a hot pink embroidered bodysuit that matched her dancers’ outfits.

In the middle of performing “Truth Hurts,” Lizzo took out her flute and began playing before yelling “Period!” mid-performance, as onlookers looked on with smiling faces.

“Welcome to the Grammys [expletive]!” Lizzo yelled before ending her performance. An emotional Lizzo hugged one of her dancers tightly at the end of her performance while jumping up and down as if she couldn’t believe that she had just performed at the Grammys.
