Scott Barbour/Getty ImagesDo you have kids who love being on the internet? Well, parents in Australia asked their three kids to take a day trip with them, but instead of appreciating the outing, the kids gave them the classic response. “That’s so boring, I don’t want to go.” But these parents didn’t let that stop their fun, they left their kids at home and brought along the family modem instead!
Mom and dad even snapped photos of the modem soaking up the sun at the beach and playing at the fair. All while their ungrateful brood was at home where they wanted to be – but had no Internet because the modem was on the road trip.
- In a hilarious Facebook post, The mom writes that they left the unappreciative kids at home and took the “most overworked family member for a well deserved day out.” She shares that “Modem had a fantastic day not being used by the kids and it was lovely not to listen to constant bickering.”
- The post has gotten more than 23-thousand comments and as you can imagine, most of them call the parents “awesome” and one even awarded it “Parenting win of the year and it’s only January.”
