It's Christmas time (which is my FAVORITE time of year) and I just started wrapping presents the other day. While I was wrapping, I couldn't help thinking about how wasteful I was being. With all the boxes that have been sent to my house, all the wrapping paper I've been using, I wanted to know how I could be better...So, I decided to look up ways to be more eco-friendly this Christmas, and I thought I would share:

1. Take reusable bags with you when gift shopping

This way you're not using plastic or paper bags from the store!

2. Make sure you use LED lights

LED lights are up to 80 percent more efficient than traditional lighting such as fluorescent and incandescent lights,

3.) Use re-usable wrapping

Instead of using wrapping paper for all your presents, re-use gift bags, and ribbon as much as you can each year.

4.) Send E-Christmas Cards

Instead of sending a paper copy of your Christmas card, send it online instead!

5. Create a homemade wreath

There are so many easy ways to make wreaths from materials you already have in your house and yard, so why not get crafty and make your own wreath this year!?

Hi, I'm Cameron! I was born and raised in North Carolina. I'm a super tall redhead who is always down for tacos, enchiladas, and margaritas. Okay, so Mexican food is my personal favorite, but I’m not saying no if you’re trying to eat out on the town anywhere. I I am on air for middays but also the Program Director for Kiss 95.1.
