How many people sign up for the 7 to 14-day free trial to watch all those shows you've been hearing about? I guess if you timed it right you could binge everything in that limited time frame, but who can devote the energy and precision that it takes unless it's over the holidays. But once you get hooked on a show, 9 times out of 10 you're going to try to see more episodes anyway possible. I loved Killing Eve on BBC Channel and began jonesing for free episodes on Amazon Prime, but they're holding on to those episodes for dear-life until we pay to watch.

My other new favorite is Watchmen in HBO!!!! It seems HBO get's you hooked, but my affordable go-to is Netflicks, it's cheap and pays for itself, but so does Amazon. Hey HBO I could really use a free subscription for a year! You're on my Christmas list and Santa said I would get one. HBO, are you going to make Santa out of a lair?
