The Carolina Panthers have selected star quarterback Cam Newton as their nominee for the 2019 Walter Payton Man of the Year award and though some may be biased, I personally think this is a great choice.

I’ve actually had the privilege to attend some of Cam’s charitable events and personally have seen his amazing impact on our Charlotte community.  “Cam Newton’s charitable efforts follow the mantra that EVERY 1 MATTERS and emphasize youth activity, diversity, community outreach, and education,” as told by WBTV.

The Walter Payton Man of the Year award is named annually for a player’s volunteer and charity work, as well as his excellence on the field. Way to go Cam!

Here are some of my favorite shots of Cam Newton on the field!
