Attending our annual Walk to End Alzheimer's event is always FUN, even though the cause is serious and sometimes sad. Sad only because when mom or dad are diagnosed we take on the heaviness as caretakers when mom forgets you because her memory is fading. If you've ever attended one of these walks you found me near the finish line at BB&T BallPark in Uptown Charlotte cheering, dancing and acting fancy near home base.
This year I had the pleasure of dancing and sharing the microphone with Nick Kosir on Fox46 Charlotte, along with a crew of TV anchors, all fun and engaging!!! Next week I'll be able to share the final tally of money raised for the 2019 Walk, so stay tuned!
