Taylor Swift recently went on NPR to take part in their Tiny Desk Concert series.
Before performing, Taylor explains to the small crowd, “I just decided to take this as an opportunity to show you guys how the songs sounded when I first wrote them.” She also added, “It’s just me. There’s no dancers, unfortunately.”
The Tiny Desk Series usually has artists play three acoustic songs, but Taylor Swift did four, “The Man,” “Lover,” “Death By A Thousand Cuts,” and “All Too Well.”
This performance is especially significant since Taylor has said she doesn’t plan on doing a big stadium tour for Lover. She has expressed wanting to capture the smaller sound of the album, which this performance does.
