Only Eat Factory-Wrapped Treats --- Yeah, it's great that people want to offer up healthy alternatives or home made treats, but it's not the safest option. Opposite idea, if you'd rather not hand out candy, hand out non-food related items.

If you’re planning on shelling out some cash and buying that candy this Halloween, make sure it’s something the kids may want. Put yourself in their shoes I guess you can say. According to ‘The Daily Meal’ they put out a list of what kids just don’t want. I can think of a few things I wouldn’t want, and mounds or almond joy candy is it. Now if you want to throw some cash in a bag or maybe a watch that may work.

But according to this list, items such as raisins, toothbrushes, floss. That’s something they don’t want even though we all know a toothbrush can be helpful after a night of trick or treating.
