This isn't the first time that the pair have been linked together. They were rumored to be dating back in 2014 and 2015, but have always said that they were just friends.
Per TMZ, Cody has gone on record talking about his adoration for Miley in the past. "Miley is one of my best friends, and she helps with some of that transitional stuff - trying to escape your childhood. She's super open-minded, and I'm working on becoming more like that."
