Sometimes live TV reports can bring funny moments. Sometimes though the reporter has to deal with something unwanted. An Indiana man thought jumping into a live show would be funny for him and his friends… But he went too far.
He’s been charged with a crime after kissing a Louisville TV reporter on the cheek while she was in the middle of a live broadcast. Sara Rivest, a reporter for WAVE-TV was reporting from Bourbon & Beyond a music festival when the incident occurred last week.
She later tweeted a video clip showing what happened, calling the kiss “unacceptable.” The man was identified by the police and charged with harassment and physical contact.
Hey mister, here’s your 3 seconds of fame. How about you not touch me? Thanks!! pic.twitter.com/5O44fu4i7y
