I have always wanted to go apple picking here in North Carolina and for some reason I never make it. This year however was different. Normally Saturday mornings are reserved for MyGYM and family walks but this past weekend I decided to cancel everything because it was the last week of apple picking at Carrigan Farms.
What a treat! Carrigan Farms had everything, a tractor ride out to the orchard, bounce houses, slides, food trucks, a petting zoo and more! Now don’t worry apple picking season might be over but pumpkin season is about to begin and a lot of these farms have similar festivals. Here’s a look at our weekend.
