This weekend was a fun one! For almost a month now, I had been planning on making a surprise trip up to Raleigh to celebrate my best friend getting engaged. Of course, she didn't know she was getting engaged but her now fiance called me a few weeks ago and organized the whole plan. He told me his plan to take her sky diving and propose, and afterwards surprise her with all her closest friends at his parents house.
I've been looking forward to this weekend for a month now, and what do you know... on Friday night, I get food poisoning. I was up all night just sick as a dog, and didn't feel much better Saturday morning when I woke up. By Saturday afternoon, I started feeling a slight bit better, and I just knew I did NOT want to miss this awesome moment. So I packed up my 4 cups of various liquids, and made my trek to Raleigh. I'm so happy I did too! Even though I didn't feel 100% it was so awesome to see my best friend and celebrate such a huge moment with her. I wouldn't have missed it for the world!
