Crisp fall afternoons make me think of all the fun girls’ trips I’ve taken with my besties.  I can just imagine all of us sipping on this Autumn Sangria on a porch somewhere in the mountains.



1 bottle pinot grigio

2 cups apple cider

assorted fall fruits chopped (apples, pears, plums)

club soda for topping off each serving

cinnamon sticks for garnish

cinnamon, brown sugar, apple pie spice for rimming glasses

lemon wedges for rimming and garnish


Chop fruits and combine in a pitcher with apple cider and pinot grigio.  Chill for a few hours.  Rim glasses with lemon wedge and dip rim in brown sugar, cinnamon and apple pie spice mixture.  Top each serving with a splash of club soda just before serving.  Garnish with cinnamon sticks, lemon and fall fruits.
