NEW YORK, NY - MAY 01: Serena Williams attends the "Rei Kawakubo/Comme des Garcons: Art Of The In-Between" Costume Institute Gala at Metropolitan Museum of Art on May 1, 2017 in New York City.

Serena Williams is not just a 23-time Grand Slam champion and a 4-time Olympic gold medalist; she is also a fashion designer. She recently unveiled her S by Serena women’s autumn/winter 2019 collection at New York Fashion Week.

Being the first runway show that Serena ever had, her S by Serena women’s autumn/winter 2019 collection hit the runway in a grand style. The collection includes oversized pocket jackets, wrap skirt, and dresses, maxi coat, utility jumpsuit, and shirts, amongst other standouts. The collection consisted of mostly silk leopard print, suede, and neon shades. She designed each piece for women to feel like they can turn their fear and doubts into confidence and courage.

Unlike most clothing collections, Serena decided to redefine the term ‘plus-size or 3X’ as ‘Great’, in her interview with, she said “I got tired of the word “plus.” I don’t want to be “plus.” I want to be great; I want other women to feel that way too. I wanted to make clothes that would fit curve women and have them feel great, let’s focus on that.”

Her runway collection is available on her website and some pieces are already sold out as they went live as soon as her runway show started!

Is there anything this girl can’t do?
