These are the best, and WORST, times to travel this weekend!

Labor Day Weekend is this weekend, and AAA predicts one in four families will be traveling this weekend. Many people view this weekend as the last big weekend of summer; a weekend where you can last-minute finish or do all those things you've said you wanted to do all summer long.

Nothing puts a damper on that like delays, and traffic though! Here are the worst times to travel this weekend, per the DOT:

For flying:

The worst days for delays are the day's everybody is most likely to be at the airport: The Friday before Labor Day (this year, that’s August 30th ) and the Tuesday after (September 3rd).

And where you’re traveling can affect the likelihood of delays too! The places expected to have the LEAST delays are Honolulu, Salt Lake City, Minneapolis-St. Paul, Phoenix, and Dallas-Fort Worth.

On the other hand, if you're headed to Newark-New Jersey, New York LaGuardia, San Francisco, New Orleans, and Boston, you're more likely to experience delays.

For Driving:

Anytime on Friday between 10am-10pm is expected to have high levels of traffic. Your best bet for low levels of traffic is actually to leave either Wednesday or Saturday of Labor Day Weekend.

Happy Travels!
