Whenever I travel, I end up missing my dog way too much. On top of that, traveling without your dog can get very expensive. I now use a Rover house sitter when I leave but if you choose to board your dog you have boarding costs and then the add ons if you choose to let your dog play during the day or get a treat. It all adds up way too fast! That's why if possible I like to bring Finley with me when I travel!
When I travel places in the United States I'm always looking at what is driveable and what is pet-friendly. That's why when WalletHub revealed their list of the Most Pet-Friendly Cities in the U.S. I was thrilled! They looked at 100 of the largest cities and calculated based on things like budget, health and wellness and outdoor pet friendliness.
