I don’t know if I need answers or if I just need to vent.
Alright so the season finale of HBO’s Euphoria aired Sunday night, but if you’re like me and use the app…then you watch it on Monday night. If you haven’t finished the season yet I am giving you fair warning…SPOILERS AHEAD.
The season finale itself seemed to drag for me. I was half way through thinking…something has to happen. It’s the finale. So when I saw what Fez was up to…I thought that was going to be it for him. I’ve come to really like him as a character so if he does die, I will be very sad. We saw Rue confront Nate and Nate have his little temper tantrum at the end. Halsey said it perfectly…
It’s still fuck Nate Jacobs— h (@halsey) August 6, 2019
But what really through me off was the final three minutes…
First off…the more I watch it, the more chills I get and the more obsessed with Zendaya I get.
BUT HERE’S WHAT I THINK THOSE LAST THREE MINUTES MEAN IN TERMS OF THE SHOW…
Let me start by saying these are just MY thoughts based on signs and literature:
- Rue is actually dead and has been the entire season
- I think she’s been narrating season one through the grave. The last three minutes were very “grave like” to me. Her not being able to walk…like “zombies.” Also during the season finale her mom reads that letter in church. That didn’t look like NA meeting…that looked and sounded more like a funeral. Also they never showed Rue and her sister sitting together during that speech. The camera would show Rue by herself and then would show her sister by herself. Kinda like Rue was just sitting in on that.
- I also think this because Rue knows a lot more about her fellow students than a normal person would. You know…kinda like that after life knowledge?
Needless to say I wish season 2 would be out tomorrow. Tweet me or message me on Instagram and tell me what you thought of the season finale! @_nicoleweaver
