Things got very interesting on The Bachelorette finale last night. Spoilers ahead:
A lot happened during the conclusion of The Bachelorette finale last night.
To recap, on the first part of the finale -which aired Monday night – Hannah Brown broke up with Peter. This left Jed Wyatt and Tyler Cameron.
In the end, Hannah chooses Jed.
Before doing that, viewers got to see Tyler begin to propose to Hannah. The NY Post explains that after rejecting Tyler, Hannah tells him, “My life would be amazing. And when I told you I was falling in love with you, I mean it. I love someone else. I’m so sorry.”
Tyler responds to Hannah in the sweetest way saying, “I’m still going to be your biggest fan and root for you. I wish you and Jed nothing but success.”
After that, Jed came to the altar with his guitar and gave viewers an awkward moment in the form of a song. He sang to Hannah, “After all that you’ve been through/ and those times you wish you knew who want on the other side of all those restless nights/ we always knew it’s me and you/ time stands still for us.” He proposed after.
Unfortunately, the fairy tale ending didn’t last as Hannah reveals to host Chris Harrison that she isn’t with Jed anymore. The reason: because he was lying about why he was on the show. Back in June, Page Six exposed Jed claiming that he had a girlfriend his entire time on the show and that he was only on the show to help his music career.
“I know I deserved more than that,” Hannah added.
So what does a girl do? She asked Tyler -the runner-up that she dumped – on a date. “Those feelings don’t just go away,” Hannah told Tyler, “You’re an incredible guy, and I’m a single girl.”
She then asked him out on a drink.
He responded with, “I would love to, just tell me when.”
Here’s to a second chance at love!
