Get out there and enjoy the sunshine!

With all of the beautiful flowers blooming, you gotta get out there and smell them! We are having a beautiful day here in the Queen City so we’ve come up with a list of 5 trails for you to enjoy.

Charlotte Rail Trail

This trail runs alongside the city’s light rail system making it an accessible way to bars, restaurants, and cafés.

Little Sugar Creek Greenway

This trail spans 20 miles extending just north of Uptown all the way down to the South Carolina state line.

Four Mile Creek Greenway

Right outside of the city center in Matthews, this beautiful out-and-back boardwalk trail stretches across Charlotte’s creeks and wetlands.

Baxter Village Trail

Just across the South Carolina border in Fort Mill, the Baxter Village Trail is known for its observation deck that overlooks the Catawba River. This trail is about three miles in length but part of a larger nine-mile network. The nine-miles also consists of shops and restaurants in case you prefer sales over the trails.

Latta Plantation

This old plantation has a 1,300-acre park and more than 16 miles of trails that wind through the forests. This park is open to hikers, walkers, and even equestrians, so you are sure to see a little of everything along the way. Throughout your walk, you can check out the plantation house, which is a living history farm, and enjoy the peacefulness of the hardwood forests.
