Science Says It’s Okay To Hire A Vacation Photographer

Hiring a photographer to document your vacation is the newest getaway trend and we think LauRen might be all over this. 

You know, I was pretty against this when my sister-in-law did it for her Charleston vacation, but the more I think about it ... I might be on board.

Apparently hiring a photographer isn't just for weddings and engagements anymore. It is becoming more and more socially acceptable to hire a photographer to document your vacation!

I know, it sounds crazy but science says it's OKAY! Dr. Andrew Selepak is a social media specialist from the University of Florida and he says it might actually help you relax during your time away. Now, this I can relate to.

I am the picture taker in our family. Even asking my husband to pick up a camera is a whole thing, so when we go on vaca I feel like it's my responsibility to document our experiences because no one else will.

Not only do I think I love this idea, but I've also taken it one step further. I did some research and not only found some vacation photographers, but I also learned that some locations have photo tours!
