We took a family trip to Reed's Gold Mine in Midland...And we found gold!
Well, technically I didn't find gold, but my sister in law and my brother did. By "found gold" I mean a little flake haha. Reed's Gold Mine is actually a pretty cool spot for a quick something different to do. They have an actual mine you can walk through which is nice because it's like 60 degrees in there! There are trails, and they make it easy for you to pan for gold.
