Former NY Knicks player Charles Oakley paid for my drinks last night and the reason why is actually funny!

If you head to the cash bar at a private event, your drink order can take longer because you use a debit card instead of cash. Trust me it's true! Their machines are just slower and that makes the line grow longer. In my case, I was at the HoopTee event in Ballantyne buying 2 drinks. I was ready to pay with my debit card when a tall dude behind me said: "I got this I have cash, your card will take too long!" Ha! So I got free drinks simply because Charles Oakley didn't wanna wait for me pay with a card. I was very thankful... If you're not familiar with who Charles is, this video went viral a few years ago, when James Dolan the owner of the Knicks had him tossed outta MSG!
