“World’s Greatest Grandpa” Builds Epic $10k Treehouse

Most kids dream about having a tree house as a child, none the less this one.

Growing up I had a tree house and it was AMAZING! My dad works in real estate and is a developer so let's just say he knew what he was doing! My tree house had steps, a porch and electricity! I loved it and to this day remember so many memories that I shared in that tree house! I had my first kiss in that tree house and I'm pretty sure my best friends and I buried a time capsule underneath it...I should probably go get that. With that being said...there's no denying that kids love tree houses and this one grandpa in the U.K. has built one that will go down in tree house history.

Terry Meredith, a U.K. grandfather, is a former electrician who says he's "good at carpentry." He proved that by crafting an epic hideaway on his property that has an indoor charcoal grill, seating for 10, and amazing views of the countryside.

The tree house is sixteen feet off the ground that sits on top of a willow tree. He says he spent $10k on materials to build this and it took him about eight months to build.
