Queen City Jazz Fest 2019

  • Charlotte Metro Credit Union Amphitheatre
  • Michael McDonald is headlining, and Jonathan Butler, Gerald Albright, Al B. Sure! and Such will be playing too at this annual summer jazz event.

Stonewall 50th Anniversary Rally & Celebration

  • Romare Bearden Park & Bar Argon
  • The Charlotte Pride, Inc. Board of Directors passes a resolution annually that demands anti-LGBTQ policies be repealed and calls for more protections to be put in place for the LGTBQ community. The afternoon rally is in honor of the Stonewall Riots and Uprising (which happened in New York 50 years ago) and the party will go into the night.
