You hear about actors not getting along on set all the time, but this one comes as a bit of a shock.
The duo, who starred as Elena Gilbert and Stefan Salvatore on the beloved CW series, apparently did NOT get along too well on the actual set of the show.
Nina Dobrev shared on the latest episode of the Directionally Challenged podcast, hosted by fellow cast mates, Candice King and Kayla Ewell.
"Paul and I didn't get along at the beginning of the show. I respected Paul Wesley, I didn't like Paul Wesley."
She went on to say, she realized there is a fine line between love and hate when people would ask her if the actors were dating in real life:
"And we despised each other so much, that it read as love. We really just didn't get along the first maybe five months of shooting."
Looks like the two settled their differences though; now they hang out and are good friends
