NEW YORK, NY - JANUARY 22: A school bus heads down a snowy road in Brooklyn on the morning after a major winter storm blanketed much of New York City in 10 to 12 inches of snow on January 22, 2014 in New York City. A girl named Sarah recently shared a letter on Twitter that her brother left for his mom back in 2017 regarding the “tough decision” he made to miss his bus ride to school.

At this point in 2019 adults have probably heard every type of excuse as to why a kid didn’t do something. One boy decided to go a different direction with his excuse.

This boy’s sister, Sarah, shared the letter on Twitter that his brother left for their mom.

The Missouri boy shared a letter and a list of pros and cons regarding his “tough decision.”

If you’re like us then you’re wondering if the letter was effective. Yes! Sarah says her mom let him stay home from school on this day. Just like good old Internet fashion, people reacted in priceless ways.
