Charlotte Twin Sisters, Kamryn and Kaycee Hailey, were awarded over $1 million in college scholarship funds!

Kamryn and Kaycee Hailey have racked up over a million in scholarship funds. The twins both have bright futures ahead, and this will be the first time the West Charlotte High School seniors will be apart since they will be attending rival schools. Kaycee, who will finish out the year with a 4.65 GPA, is set to be a Duke Blue Devil while Kamryn will be a Tarheel at The University of North Carolina.

“It’s nice knowing that I’m on a different campus and I get to be my own independent person, but if I ever want to see her I can just go so easily and see her,” says Kaycee. She’s considering a degree in African-American studies. Meanwhile, Kamyrn is looking to study either business or communications. “I’m excited to see what it’s going to be like when I get to college,” she says.

One of those scholarships is The Charlotte Post’s Top Senior scholarship, which Kaycee was awarded due to her 4.65-grade point average, work as a peer mentor and other amazing accomplishments. While she was the runner-up for the top prize, she’ll still be awarded a scholarship for her schooling this fall.

Congratulations to Kamryn and Kaycee on their amazing accomplishments!
