Nearly a year after a drug overdose almost took her life, singer Demi Lovato seems to be in a much better place, both personally and professionally.
The singer, 26, posted a photo of herself in a leopard bikini on a beach in Bora Bora.
“Just left what’s possibly my favorite place on Earth with my best friends,” she wrote. “Bora Bora is literal heaven on Earth.. I may be posting a lot of pics in the next few days.. I’m sorry in advance.”
Lovato shared another photo Monday, posing in the beautiful tropical waters.
But while the much-needed vacation gave her a little r&r, she’s also working on hard on returning to the spotlight, all while staying committed to her sobriety.
She shared that she has just signed with one of the music industry’s top management talents, Scooter Braun. She joins the ranks of his superstar clients like Justin Bieber, Ariana Grande and Hilary Duff.
“GUYS!!!!!!!,” she wrote. “Dreams came true today for me. I officially have a NEW MANAGER!!! And not just any new manager but the one and only @scooterbraun!!!! Couldn’t be happier, inspired and excited to begin this next chapter with you Scooter!!! Thank you for believing in me and for being apart of this new journey. Let’s DO THIS!!!!!! ????????????”
Braun also shared his excitement over the news, saying Lovato “is a special person and a special talent.”
