Wow!

Disney is DONE with smoking.  Disneyland and Walt Disney World resorts will prohibit the smoking of tobacco products and electronic cigarettes in most public areas as of May 1, 2019.

The parks are following in the footsteps of other attractions like, LEGOLAND, the San Diego Zoo, and Dodger Stadium, who have all already banned smoking.

After May 1, if you want to smoke, you’ll have to exit the park and go to a new designated smoking area beyond the security checkpoints.

But smoking isn’t the only thing that will be banned soon from these parks.

Also starting May 1, Disneyland will ban over-sized strollers inside its theme parks. Right now there is a 36-inch limit on the width of strollers in the park but that will soon be reduced to strollers no wider than 31-inches. Disney officials hope that the new restrictions will help to clear often-crowded pathways inside Disneyland and California Adventure, especially around older building entrances in the original park, which were not designed to accommodate extra-wide strollers.
