There’s a company in Japan that will quit your job for you so you don’t have to.
There’s a company called Exit, and their name really does do them justice. The company is based in Japan and if you want to leave your job but you don’t want to face the stress of quitting in person, they will do it for you.
The service that Exit provides costs $450 if you have a full-time job to quit and $360 if you have a part-time job.
In the words of Exit…”Repeat clients get a $90 discount.”
Exit is part of a startup run by two childhood friends. They started their company last year and it’s already turning a profit.
One of the owners say, “Personally, I’m perplexed as to why people find it hard to quit, but I do sense that this atmosphere is prevalent in Japan.”
While the company name, Exit, is fitting…so is their logo. Their logo is a figure running out of a door. When we talked about this on air the other day we asked the question if anybody out there would let us quit their job for them. Turns out…phone lines LIT UP! Listen to us try to quit one listener’s job and it does not go as planned.
