Jennifer Aniston Claps Back To Rumors & We’re Loving It!

She's a strong independent woman... and she's letting everyone know!

Jennifer Aniston has been at the forefront of tabloids for over a decade, most of which stemmed from her very public break-ups.  During her interview for InStyle she addressed some ugly misconceptions that have circled around her for years.

The actress said: "the misconceptions are 'Jen can’t keep a man,' and 'Jen refuses to have a baby because she’s selfish and committed to her career.' Or that I’m sad and heartbroken," she goes on to say "First, with all due respect, I’m not heartbroken. And second, those are reckless assumptions….no one considers how sensitive that might be for my partner and me. They don’t know what I’ve been through medically or emotionally."

Women are often extremely pressured to be in long-term, committed relationships and then devote their lives to motherhood.  Jennifer took this interview as an opportunity to shed light on other ways of life for women and how there is nothing wrong with choosing a different path.  She explains: "there is a pressure on women to be mothers, and if they are not, then they’re deemed damaged goods," she says. "Maybe my purpose on this planet isn’t to procreate."
