Online dating coach, Julie Spira, had some helpful tips for those who use online profiles. She recommends updating your profiles at least once a week, which seems like it's overkill, but it actually has benefits that may help you out.
She states that a few minor changes to your profile every week are likely to catch the attention of someone that may have previously passed you while browsing their online dating sites. Something as simple as rearranging your photos, taking a few new ones, and rewriting a short updated bio can go a long way in the online world as sometimes we don't always catch minor details.
Online dating is extremely difficult because you are typically being taken at "face" value before you can delve deeper into what makes you so great. It's important to switch things up every so often in the hopes that different specifics showcasing more parts of who you are emerge. So that girl who has a new profile picture every couple days... don't judge her, she may just be trying to better her chances at love!
Want to test this theory? Change one of your online profiles to an updated version, leave the other(s) alone, and see which profile gets a better turn out!
