But where is that weighty responsibility felt the most?
A new study from personal finance website GOBankingRates says New Hampshire has the highest percentage of graduates in debt, at 74 percent.
Graduates from "The Granite State" owe an average of $36,387. Pennsylvania has the second highest percentage of graduates in debt at 68%. Average student loan debt? $35,759.
