From stand-up to sitcom, to movie star and Oscar winner, Robin Williams spent a lot of his life in the spotlight. After his unexpected death from suicide in 2014, many fans were left wondering how someone who brought so much light could have been in a place so dark.

In this HBO documentary, Come Inside My Mind, directed by Marina Zenovich, we are able to observe Williams' highs and lows, but more importantly, Zenovich examines his brain in a way that you would never believe.

This documentary discusses Williams' diagnosis and fight against Parkinson's disease and Lewy body dementia (LBD) that were kept rather private once before. In this documentary, those who were the closest to Williams speak out in exclusive interviews and we are able to see compiled footage and outtakes of the comedian throughout the years.

Come Inside My Mind will have viewers laughing, crying, and a lot of overlap between the two as it looks deeply into all of the personality and brains behind one of Hollywood's most favored faces.
