NEW YORK, NY – JUNE 05: Planes sit on the runway at John F. Kennedy International Airport (JFK) on June 5, 2017 in New York City. Part of what the White House is calling the president’s “infrastructure week,” President Donald Trump announced Monday a plan to privatize the nation’s air traffic control system. If enacted, it would remove the job of tracking and guiding airplanes from the oversight of the Federal Aviation Administration.

Peanuts or pretzels? These days you're lucky if you get offered either!

Legroom, in-flight WiFi, seat selection... all things that would normally determine an airline's rating, however, Mashable has now ranked airlines based upon their snack and beverage selections.  Their list is geared toward domestic/North American flights specifically in the Economy class.

Leading this list is Hawaiian Airlines.  They earn the top spot because of their native snack options such as macadamia nut chocolate and cookies from local company's, and even Hawaii-inspired full meals.  This airline also provides a complimentary alcoholic beverage for passengers in Economy seating.

Amongst the bottom of the list are airlines like Frontier and Allegiant because they don't offer any snacks or beverages and an in-flight meal in Economy is obsolete.

The full list according to Mashable is as follows:

  1. Hawaiian Airlines
  2. Jetblue
  3. American Airlines
  4. Delta Airlines
  5. United Airlines
  6. Alaska Airlines
  7. Southwest
  8. Frontier
  9. Spirit
  10. Allegiant
