We talked about this earlier in today's show but it got us thinking...what do our dogs try to tell us on a day-to-day basis that may get lost in translation? We got a list from the experts and now we're ready to share with you!
- They use their snouts to move your hand onto their bodies
- Rolling over in front of you
- Holding one paw in the air while sitting
- Pressing their noses up against you or another object
- Turning their heads from side to side
- Licking you
- Standing on their hind legs
- Lifting a paw and placing it on you
- Using their mouth to throw a toy forward
- Gently biting your arm
- Shuffling along the ground while rolling over
- Lifting their back leg while lying on their side
- Rubbing their heads against you while leaning on you
- Briefly touching you with one paw
- Lifting both paws off of the ground and placing them on a human or object
- Diving headfirst under a person or object
- Jumping up and down in the same place
- Reaching a paw towards an object
- Wiggling their bodies underneath a person or object
