Today, the MRL Show took to our listeners to ask if they had ever been a victim of the newest dating horror "stashing," and quite a few people had some things to say....
"Stashed" is a term used when your significant other chooses not to introduce you to friends/family/social media. Now the rule of thumb on that type of behavior is typically to run far, far away because that person is clearly hiding you for a reason. This shady behavior often gets swept under the rug because offenders will say things like "it's because of work," "I'm a private person," "I want you all to myself," which are all red flags.
According to the New York Post, "“stashers” are typically people who have commitment issues and are emotionally unavailable," “They may also be anxious and insecure which makes them hesitant to bring their partner around the people who know them best or co- workers who they see on a daily basis.”
If you suspect you're being "stashed," ditch that person immediately because you deserve to be shown off!
