Charlotte Living…And Learning

Charlotte is a huge melting pot with people from all over, so we asked our listeners...what is something you had to get used to when you moved  here?

Me, personally, (oh and hi! By the way, I'm an intern - nice to meet you!) I've met 20 people or less that are actually originally from Charlotte.  Most of us here are transplants, and if you are one too then you've probably heard a native talk about how we are infiltrating their city (we can't help that it's so appealing!)  Being from Ohio, I had a lot to learn when I came to Charlotte.  For example: don't expect to get anywhere by car in less than 25 minutes, pretend to like sweet tea even if you don't or you will be exiled, and don't expect to have a good hair day during the months of April-August.

Today at the MRL Show we took to our listeners to see what they had to adapt to when they arrived in Queen City!
