Having scientific evidence automatically strengthens a theory, argument, etc. but can it strengthen the dating pool? Scientists say it's possible if you follow these tips:
- don't lie about appearance prior to the meeting (studies show 81% of single people lie about their age/height/appearance which leads to an awkward first encounter)
- wear an outfit you are comfortable in and that makes you feel good about yourself
- don't talk about your ex (but 80% of people say money, politics, religion are fine topics!)
- don't be on your phone (75% of daters think it's extremely rude)
- keep the first date around 2-2.5 hours
Maney, Roy, and LauRen have some mixed opinions on these do's and don't's, listen in and see who you agree with!
